Attended the Nokia OneConnectedWorld conference today and got the chance to try out the new Nokia X6 music phone.

The X6 and X3 music series were announced few weeks ago at Nokia World.

I’ll do a review of X6 (with video hands on) after this.

For now, let’s check out how the 5mpx camera performs under low light indoors. Click on the images below to enlarge.

Somehow I think the photo quality is better than those taken by Nokia N97.

What do you think?

I am kinda speechless when I see things like this. On one side, people who were trying the N900 carelessly uploaded photos to flickr and twitpic. On the other side, there are people who can actually find out these photos even though the photo exifs does not state N900.

Apparently Mark from TheNokiaBlog has used this Flickr search trick to find unreleased photo samples of pre-release Nokia phones on the net. This time around, he tried to search for N900 but did not find anything. All he found was photos taken by devices labeled “007 001″.

This photo was located in the N900 folder and the photo exif says that it was taken using a device labeled “007 001″

@chansearrington posted this photo on Twitpic with a caption “test”. He also explained that it was shot with an N900 but wasn’t the final hardware or firmware.

More photos.

Note that these photos are taken using early pre-production firmware. The photo quality may improve in months to come.

Hi all, here are some of the things about the N97 camera that I came up with after using it for a few days.

Basically the camera interface is exactly the same as on the 5800XPM but of course, the N97 has a 5megapixels lens with Carl Zeiss optics, which is a BIG difference from the Xpressmusic touchscreen.

Once the camera lens cover is slided out, the camera will be activated and it takes about 4 seconds to bring up the live view image on the screen. I think it’s quite slow because it only took about 2 seconds on my 5800.

Camera quality is good, both on the 3.5inch screen and also on my PC monitor. Video camera interface is similar to the one on the 5800 as well, but this only has 3 quality options. VGA, High quality widescreen (16:9) or High quality (4:3).

Overall I think the camera is very similar as the N96. I will be comparing photos from both devices soon, but for now, here are some shots from my N97 and a video at the end of the post. Click on the images to enlarge.

PS: Photos below are all unedited. I only added the text on them.
