New things keep on coming from the Finland telco giant yo!

Just yesterday when we got the news about the Nokia Booklet 3G, the company has just announced the new Nokia 5230 that looks exactly like the 5800 XpressMusic but with a touch of colour.

The new touchscreen device is designed for on-the-go entertainment, location based services and easy access to social networks at low cost.

Similar to the 5800 XPM, the 5230 comes with a 3.2inch touchscreen LCD display, on-screen QWERTY keyboard, handwriting recognition and HSDPA connectivity (to ensure fast connection to social networks like Facebook adn Twitter.)

The 5230 can last up to 33 hours of playback time, a 3.5mm headphone jack and memory expandable up to 16GB via a microSD card.

The 5230 will come in 2 versions:
- Standard (149 Euros)
- Come With Music Edition (259 Euros)

Other features include assisted-GPS with Ovi Maps, Nokia’s new Contacts bar on the homescreen, a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0.
