One of the growing location based social network service, Foursquare, has been implemented in a Symbian app to allow users to check-in on their locations and share them with friends.
As some of you may know, Foursquare is currently not natively supported on Symbian platform yet, but thanks to Waze, we can now easily report out locations with just a few taps!

All you need to do is download Waze onto your Symbian device (touch/non touch)

Once the GPS signal is locked, click on the “Report” button and scroll down to reveal the Foursquare option.

First time users will be asked to login.

Once logged in, a list of nearby locations will be displayed. Just tap on any of them and you are done!

This is the confirmation screen once u have checked in.
Note: GPS locking is quite slow (was trying this with the Nokia 5800), no options to view badges or friends’ locations… but hey you get to check in without the need to go to m.foursquare.com on your browser! aha
Point your phone browser to http://m.waze.com/ now to download WAZE.

GPS takes years to lock on. I gave up on it. Waiting for the native app!
