I recently stumbled upon a website called Email with ease. It’s one of Nokia’s moves to get people to familiarize themselves with the latest E series and the messaging service that they rolled out recently.
In the site users can click on “Email Artist” and then compose their own fun emails and the message will be displayed around the E75 which can be sent to friends.
Click on “Email with Ease” bring up the video clips explaining the email services.
.. and not long after that Britney Spears was using it in her ‘Womanizer’ video (or rather the other way round… but thats not the point)
Now here’s a new one! Spotted in the latest music video of the super hit song “Jai Ho” from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, remixed along with the addition of Pussycat Dolls vocals and dance moves, replacing the song Hindi words with English lyrics, titled ‘You Are My Destiny”.
As we all know, the N86 was recently announced and it’s the successor for the current N85. The N86 comes with an 8megapixel camera, kickstand and a hard glass-nonscratchable screen…. but what else makes it different than the N85?
Ewan Spence from AAS has come up with a very comprehensive article that compares both from the hardware aspect.

The super well known mobile browser has a new update!
New in Opera Mini 4.2 beta
Skins
Personalize Opera Mini by choosing a new colorful skin. We have reintroduced the popular skinning feature from Opera Mini 3.
Performance
Opera Mini 4.2 can use our newly established server park in the US. This means significantly faster page downloads for our users in the Americas and Asia-Pacific region. Users in the rest of the world will also experience faster page downloads since we’ve reduced the load on our other servers.
Video
We are working to make video content available on more phones through Opera Mini. If you have a new Sony Ericsson or Nokia phone, the chance is high that you can take Opera Mini for a spin on m.youtube.com.
Sync your Notes
The handy Notes functionality from the Opera Desktop Web browser just got more portable through Opera Link. All of your notes are available in Opera Mini directly from the Bookmarks menu.
Point your phone’s browser to mini.opera.com/beta to download the beta version of Opera Mini 4.2.
Opera Mini 4.2 beta installs next to any existing stable Opera Mini version on your device and will not overwrite any of your data.
Or you can download it to your PC and then transfer it to your mobile.
Hi all, we realised that a lot of blogs link to SymbianpOp using text links and we hope to contribute to those who link to this site with a nicer graphic button.
Feel free to pick any one of these and link to SymbianpOp if you like the content and would love to return to read more of our upcoming posts.

This is my 2nd post about the new 5800 touchscreen music phone from Nokia.
Let’s talk about one of the accessories that comes with the 5800.
The casing.
It’s a hard case, that feels a bit rubberish… not quite sure of the material used but I just love the look of it.
Here’s a closer look at it. As you can see, the tiny holes allows us to catch a quick glimpse of the screen so if there’s a notification of any sort, we will get to see it.
Now gaming.
The 5800 comes with 2 games.
Bounce.
It’s a 3d version of the famous bouce game from Nokia. In this game, you control the movement of the rubber ball by sliding your fingers across the screen. Slide up to move the ball forward, slide down for backwards, slide left to turn left and slide right to turn right. Double click and you can make it jump… very useful when you need to jump across moving platforms.
Grand Raging Thunder
Note: This is not a screenshot of the version from 5800. This is a racing game that is controlled by tilting the phoen left and right, utilising the built in accelerometer. Watch the video below to see hwo this game is played on the 5800 XpressMusic.
One more thing I have to tell you… N-Gage is not supported in this device. So if you are an N-gage player, then think if you really wanna get this 5800 ok.
After all the talk about N85 and N79, let’s come back to the event itself. The N96 launch, at Hilton Hotel, KL.
The hall has booths for users to play Asphalt 3D on N-Gage using the N96… and on the other side of the hall sports some other booths highlighting some features of the N96.
The event started with a speech by the new General Manager of Nokia Malaysia & Brunei, then followed another representative to present the N96.
Then models came on stage with the new Nseries multimedia computers and then posed for the media.
Anyways, here’s the device itself… N96 playing the FaceTheTask video on its 2.8″ screen, placed on a table supported by the kickstand that pops out from the side of the camera lens.
Here’s a video of Jonas Geust intorducing the 3 models briefly and then the people behind the Nseries production.
The most anticipated N-gage game of the year has been released!
Reset Generation is the first cross-platform game whereby users can play it in their N-gage enabled devices as well as on the PC! The game is most likely to appeal more to those whom has been playing those old school game on cartridges and blowing up walls using bombs or saving princess at the end of the games they played.
The gameplay is similar to Bomberman but this one has a lot more other features and the producers has actually put in elements of many games in it. Play it and you might spot some familiar looking characters in it, eg: hedgehog, plumbers, princess, bomber etc.
Go download Reset Generation via the N-gage application now or you can play the web version at ResetGeneration.com
